What are your fondest memories of West Fresno

Let me begin by strolling down memory lane. If you remember The Mighty Minnie Good Time Show, picking up prescriptions from Rudy's, taking a sick dog to the vet on Elm or getting your first kiss at Hyde Park you know about "The West". Maybe that's too far back, how about Jazz and Blues every weekend at Hinton Center or weekend basketball tournaments at Frank H after swimming for 50 cents all day? When the rest of Fresno hear about South West Fresno, it is usually in a negative light. I would like to start this blog off with some of your best memories of West Fresno. Rather it be events that you have attended, family gatherings and/or your church functions or how you just fellowship with friends. If you have pictures please post them.
